Environmental experts and professionals will address hot button topics affecting our environment.   Every month will address a new and exciting topic – it’s a chance to meet regularly to chat, debate, socialize and connect with other Scugog residents passionate about environmental and sustainability issues.

Anne began making soaps and body products ten years ago when she was unable to find the pure and unadulterated products she wanted for her family.  That hobby turned into a business two years ago when she realized there were many people who were looking for the same chemical-free products that would be wonderful for their skin.  A Port Perry resident for over 5 years, Anne has found the local community to be extremely supportive of her business, Goat’s Milk Soap Company.

 Anne will discuss the importance of eliminating chemicals from our environment, and specifically our body products and the purity of their ingredients. It’s important to be an informed consumer and purchase products that are wonderful for the skin while not harming our bodies or the environment; by doing so we can affect change one person at a time – start locally think globally. This relates directly to the interconnectedness of our lives and the decisions we make as consumers.
